I had the privilege of working with Gordon, and I will always appreciate his honesty and straightforward nature. He was the kind of person who spoke his mind, and while that can be challenging for some, I deeply respected him for it. I’m grateful to have known him—his intelligence and knowledge of so many things at Tinker made a lasting impact. He will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences to his family, and I will be keeping you in my prayers during this difficult time.

This actually has me at a loss for words and I am never at a loss for words.
Before I even knew Gordon's name he approached me about a job and my first reaction was 'Man, he's loud' but he talked to me often and I got to know him. Underneath all that roughness I saw a really good person but it was his roughness that brought us together as friends. He was always to the point and I appreciated that about him. He saw potential in me before anyone else did and was always pushing me so now I have to push myself for him. I pray that he knew how important he was to me and the impact he made.
He will forever be a friend and I will always miss him.  My heart goes out to the family.

My condolences to the family. I met Gordon when learning new duties in my job. Gordon said I don't mess around I like things done a certain way. At first it seemed like I was in for a tough time but then learned how knowledgeable he was at everything and how he knew how to explain even the most complex things to me like they were simple. His humor too and ability to have conversation with anyone to make sure things got done was remarkable. He will be truly missed. Truly a knowledable and down to earth person and co worker. I was deeply saddened to hear of Gordon’s passing, and I want to extend my sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Gordon and I shared a special bond during our time working together—one that was built on mutual respect, honesty, and a genuine passion for learning. He was a true lifetime learner, always seeking to understand more, do more, and challenge the status quo. I often teased him about “playing checkers on my chess board” as a way to encourage more strategic thinking—but the truth is, Gordon had a brilliant way of cutting through complexity and seeing things clearly, even if it ruffled a few feathers. I always appreciated his candor and admired his integrity.

What I will miss most are our spirited conversations—sometimes challenging, always meaningful, and often full of good-natured humor. Gordon had a way of making you think, and more importantly, making you better.

Please know that his memory and impact live on in the hearts of many who had the privilege to work with him. He will be deeply missed.

If you were a friend of Gordon he had your back. He was smart funny and he would tell you like it is. I worked with him since 2008. When we separated to different jobs we still talked at least once or twice a week until his passing. I’m saddened by his passing and the loss for his family.
