

James "Frank" Franklin Hyde, 76, of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 31, 2018 at St. Anthony's hospital, Oklahoma City, OK. Frank was born August 14, 1941 in Hamilton Ohio, to Jim and Callie Hyde. His father went to war not long after he went to live with his grandparents, Franklin and Addie Hyde in the Hills of Kentucky, while his mother stayed behind to support the war efforts, he was growing up with lots of uncles and a few aunts. He was a 1959 high school graduate of Culver Military academy, Culver IN. He went on to join the United States Air Force, where he met the love of his life a fellow Airman Ramona June Dyson. After getting out the service, they moved back to Hamilton for a short while, before moving to Oklahoma so he could attend the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Masters in Accounting. After working for a few Accounting firms, he began his own successful practice, and remained there until his death 35 plus years later. He was a member of the Del City Blue Lodge, and India Shrine Clown, a 3rd degree black belt in Go Ju - ryu. A master fisherman, golfer, swimmer and had a great love of the outdoors and sports. He is survived by his son Jody and daughter-in-law Kimberly Hyde of Oklahoma City, OK. Grandson Reid of Del City, OK, Granddaughter Jill of Oklahoma City, Great Grandson Jaxon and Great Granddaughter Kaiden both of Oklahoma City. Brother Joe and Sister- in- law Nancy Hyde of Ingleside TX and nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona, his parents, Jim and Callie Hyde and his brother Jon Hyde. You know we could go on about Frank, but there isn't enough time or paper to put it all on. He will be greatly missed by family and a whole host of friends.
