Jane Winnell Garringer, 84, of Blanchard, OK passed away June 25, 2016. She was born in Stillwater, OK to Edward and Winifred (Belk) Bandelier on February 16, 1932. Jane loved going to church and bible studies and sang in the choir at the First Methodist Church in Blanchard, OK. She enjoyed many years of bowling with her best friends Gay Pannye and Carol also of Blanchard. She loved her precious horse, Tina, and many dogs and cats throughout the years. Family meant the world to her and she meant the world to her family. Her home was always welcoming and loving. Especially, for the Fourth of July, when family and friends would come over to celebrate. Moving from her home in Blanchard to Copperlake Estates was very hard on her but with the help of her new friends and a special friend named James, life became exciting again for a while. Then life became confusing and a new chapter in her life was to begin when she moved to Golden Age nursing facility where she spent two years. She missed her deceased mother, daddy, and sister, Claudine, very much and talked to them often. Her brother, Edward, was a constant source of support and joy in her life in every aspect. Her deceased husband, Chuck (Papa, Poppy), was such a blessing all throughout their life together. Chuck’s sisters, Mary and Judy, and brother David, who she loved dearly, were a source of joy and support. Together Chuck and Jane raised two children, Lori Eichler of Edmond, OK and Rick Garringer of Valicro, FL. She is also survived by her son-in-law Don Eichler, daughter-in-law Christy Garringer; grandchildren, Donnie, Bobby, Bryan, Jackee, Chelsea, Jared, Brittni, Brandee, and Blake; 14 plus great-grand-children, one will be born this August and many other loving family members. She was very proud of them all. Playing cards with the grandkids was a great joy to Jane. She became well known for her "special way of playing". We have all missed playing with Mema or as we liked to tease her, Mema Cheato. The love Jane gets to take with her is enormous. A funeral service will he held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City with interment following at Arlington Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
