Charlie McGuire, 51 year-old resident of Newalla, Oklahoma, passed away December 24, 2013 at his home. Born January 27, 1962 in San Jose, California he was the son of Donald Gene McGuire and Carle Frances (Pimental) McGuire. Charlie was a longtime machinist working in the petroleum industry in the oil fields. He had never met a stranger in his life and got along with everyone. Charlie loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved motorcycles and was currently riding a Suzuki bike. He was very active in children’s toy drives at Christmas time and loved helping the kid’s get toys every year. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jana McGuire of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Jessica Dawn McGuire; his special friend, Donna Gay; 3 grandchildren whom he adored; 6 brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Memorial services are being planned for his home near his birthday in January and will be announced here when they are finalized.
