Jessie M. Molder

Jessie Mae (Ballard) Molder, age 87, passed from this earth to join her heavenly father on April 18, 2011 after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 10, 1924 in Mulberry, Arkansas to Lewis N. Ballard Sr. and Jessie Ann (Carty) Ballard. She entered into marriage with Travis T. Molder on July 1, 1944 and they moved from Arkansas to the Oklahoma City area in the early 1950’s. Jessie was a loving housewife and mother, and enjoyed working several years as a children’s nursery care attendant. She was a member of the Del City Church of Christ in Del City, OK.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 sister, and 3 brothers. She is survived by her 3 children, Larry Molder and wife Wanda of Galena, MO; Jackie Molder and wife Geneva of Yukon, OK; and Ronnie Molder and wife Debbie of Lexington, OK.

Two brothers Lewis N. Ballard Jr. and Bill R. Ballard, both of Van Buren, AR; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

She lived at the Ranchwood Nursing Care Center in Yukon, OK for the past 12 1/2 years where she developed countless friendships with fellow residents, and was a member of their “Red Hat Society”. The family wishes to thank the many caregivers who cared for Jessie through the years.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 21, 2011 at 10:00am, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Funeral Home in Del City, OK. Viewing Thursday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm April 21, 2011 at Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren Arkansas. Graveside services will be at the Mulberry New Cemetery in Mulberry, Arkansas on Friday April 22, 2011at 2:00 pm.
