Jimmie Paul Stewart

Jimmie and Wilma met when Wilma was 13 and he was 19 and were married for 58 years. Jimmie was a salesman most of his life. He particularly liked gardening and being outside, he loved to preach in his younger days. He loved his family and helping people in need. He loved animals. He was in the United States Army for 2 years.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma of the home; children, Jeanne McNeil and husband Jim, Paula Ayulo and husband Juan, Scott Stewart and wife Danira; grandchildren, Michelle Sylvester and husband Steve, Juanpaul Ayulo, Macy Ayulo, Nicole Ayulo, Jimmie Stewart, Randy Stewart; great grandchildren, Nick and Brandon Jaurnig; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Gene Stewart; special cousin, Jackie Hamilton, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Preceding Jimmie in death were his parents, Willie and Ruth Stewart; brother, JW Stewart and special cousin, Harold Stewart.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Jimmie will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bill Adcox officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery in Shawnee, OK with Scott Stewart, Jimmie Stewart, Jim McNeil, Nick Jaurnig, Brandon Jaurnig and Juanpaul Ayulo serving as pallbearers.
