John Proctor

John Proctor, Jr., 86, passed away June 23, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 22, 1926 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Johnson and Maggie (Beaver) Proctor. John was 1 of 8 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Andy Proctor and Lewis Proctor; 3 sisters; Ella Billy, Annie Billy, and Mandy Lowe; and 2 children; Timothy Proctor and Janet Martinez. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Proctor, of Wetumka, Oklahoma; his sons, Robert Bear of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Charles Bear and wife, Sally Bear, of Del City, Oklahoma; and Tracy Bear of Del City, Oklahoma; his daughters, Barbara Barr of Norman, Oklahoma and Naomi and husband, Yogi B. Harjo of Del City, Oklahoma; 2 brothers; Sam Proctor of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and James and wife, Geri Proctor, of Glenpool, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. Services will be held on Thursday, June 28th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Salt Creek United Methodist Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, June 26th, 2012 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City, Oklahoma from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with an additional wake service on Wednesday, June 27th, 2012 at Salt Creek United Methodist Church in Wetumka, Oklahoma, beginning at 4:00 p.m. To leave condolences, please visit www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
