He served in the U.S. Air Force and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son. John was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Michael Starr and granddaughter, Riley Starr. Survivors include his step-father, John Raml; children, Gayla Scamman (Joey), Chris Starr (Stephanie); grandchildren, Shelby and Logan Bryant and Rayna Starr.
