Miss Rosie enjoyed quilting, reading, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Blue Bloods. Her passion was loving and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Dee Johnson; daughter, Connie Johnson; siblings, Pete Mandrell, Ed Sparks, Hettie Owen, Tom Mandrell, Glen Mandrell, Virgie Honeycutt, Paulyne Skaggs, and Pearline Nelson. Survivors include her sons, Richard D. Johnson and wife, Marsha, Lige R. Johnson and wife, Cathy; grandchildren, Brandon Johnson and wife, Allison, Debra Johnson and husband, Jessie, Julie Martinez and husband, Mark; great-grandchildren, Gabe and Sierra Carter, Race Derrick, Gibson and Noah Johnson; siblings JC Mandrell, Barbara Briggs; and sisters-in-law, Joy Honeycutt, Bonnie Calhoun, Arla Jean Bingamon. The family would like to thank Kara for the loving care that she provided to our mother.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
