To know Kathleen was to experience life in full color. Her home could have graced the pages of Architectural Digest, and her flower gardens were always vibrant and meticulously cared for. A true fashion icon, Kathleen had an eye for style and was always dressed to perfection. She turned heads everywhere she went.
She was a woman of many passions: a music lover who preferred CDs in her car, a sports fanatic devoted to Kobe Bryant and the world of basketball and football, and an animal lover who raised chickens and goats alongside her husband. Calling it their own version of Green Acres.
A testament to the depth of their love. Ron lovingly said, “I’m blessed and fortunate enough to have loved and been loved by a movie star. I laughed with her, worked out with her, raised animals with her, and lived life with the woman I said “I do” six times to at our wedding.”
Kathleen’s radiant spirit, kindness, and warm, welcoming nature made her unforgettable. She never met a stranger, and her light will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Winford Saylors and Nancy French Saylors, and her sister, Nancy Saylors Klotz. She is survived by her devoted husband of 10 years, Ron Pollard; son, Matthew Dickey; two nieces she loved dearly, Beth Klotz Lukawska and Amanda Klotz Jett; bonus children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family of Kathleen would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support they have received during this difficult time. Your kind words have brought comfort to our family. May God bless each of you.
