Larry Arthur Salada

Larry Arthur Salada, 70, avid OU fan and Trump supporter, passed into Heaven’s pearly gates on March 6, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on December 18, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA to Herbert Arthur and Georgie (Cunningham) Salada.

He was very knowledgeable about the Bible and loved having discussions with his sisters. He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music and attending concerts, casinos and loving on his cat, Wyatt. Occasionally you could find him indulging in his favorite foods, shrimp, Blue Bell Ice Cream, cinnamon candies and Pepsi. He had a smile that we will always be remembered by his family. He worked 35 years at Tinker Air Force Base.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Bradley Herbert Salada, and Lori Lee Jackson. Survivors include his children, Sean Ryan Childers (Tara), Zac Boomer Salada; grandchildren, Chase Salada Childers, Camryn Claire Childers and Mariska Gayle Salada; siblings, Lois Rogers (Jeci), Becky Stone (Mark Edmonds); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel .Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
