

L.D. Hull, 90, passed away on December 31, 2015 IN Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on January 12, 1925 in Stuart, OK to Harlon C. and Pearl L. (Clift) Hull. He and Doris Jean Lee were united in marriage on October 4, 1946, and enjoyed 69 years together.
Among his many interests L.D. loved watching sports, especially Oklahoma State University football. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
L.D. was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. After the war he working for 37 years as a Station Operating Supervisor for OG&E. Upon retirement he and Jean traveled across the United States. Other favorite pastimes were playing golf, fishing, and gardening. He was a Freemason and a member of The Pioneer Club, the organization for retired employees of OG&E. L.D. was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrah for over 50 years. He and Jean joined Sunnylane Southern Baptist church when they moved to Oklahoma City in 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sons, Lanney D. Hull and Danney Mac Hull; sister, Glenda Blevins; and nephew, Denver Holloway. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Doris Jean; daughter, Connie Diotte and husband Larry; grandchildren, Matt Hull, Travis Hull, Hannah Foley, Tyler Hull and wife Michelle, and Lanney Diotte and wife Ali; great-grandchildren, Garrett Hull, Gabe Hull, Lukas Hull, Christian Foley, Lucy Diotte, and Aubrey Hull; special family members, Lori and Don Whitton, Jerenda Lawrence, Dawn Moon, and Frances Harding; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Timberwood Assisted Living Center for their tender loving care.
L.D.'s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 4, 2016 at Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church with interment to follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harran, OK.
