Lenora Brannon McCoy

Lenora (Brannon) McCoy age 86, of Del City, OK left this earth and went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2014. She was born October 23, 1927 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Leona and William Henry Brannon.

Lenora was a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church where she was the nursery coordinator for many years. She also worked with her husband at Rose’s Restaurant which they owned. She was mother of the year for Del City. Children delighted her and she loved gospel and country music.

She is survived by her 7 children, - Paul McCoy Jr. and wife Laural, Leroy McCoy and wife Susie, John McCoy, Jovonia Gallagher and husband Mark, Deena McCoy, Robert McCoy, Kim Harris and husband Mike; and 12 grandchildren – Michael Harris Jr., Kristie McCoy Burda, Amanda Harris Mosley and husband Linwood, Ryan McCoy, Patrick McCoy, Allision Gallagher, Krystal Harris, Christopher McCoy, John Eric McCoy, Bridget Gallagher, Ty McCoy, Michael McCoy; and 3 great grandchildren – Alicia Burda, Seth Burda and Olivia Mosley. Lenora is preceded in death by her husband (Paul Edward McCoy, Sr.), her mother and father, and 4 brothers, - A.G. Brannon, Jack Brannon, Leon Brannon (her twin) and Karin Dean Brannon. She is survived by 4 siblings, - Ola Mae Frazier, Eugene Brannon, Billy (William) Brannon, Jeanette Dean.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Diabetes Association. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, June 13, 2014 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Del City with burial at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
