Leroy Raines

Leroy Raines, 81, of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 with his beloved wife by his side. He was born December 22, 1935 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Herbert M. and Mary Jane (Davis) Raines. Leroy proudly served in the U.S. Air Force in 1954.

He married the love of his life, Frances Moore on August 29, 1962 at Del City Church of Christ in Del City, Oklahoma. A devoted husband and father who loved his family with all of his heart and sacrificed everything he had for his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. Leroy was an avid reader who enjoyed watching western movies and studying his bible. One of his favorite passages of scripture was the 23 Psalm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Kenneth Allan Robinson and daughter, Teresa Raines. Leroy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Raines; stepbrother, Dewayne Lugafet and his wife, Judy; stepsister, Pauline Ohadi; grandchildren, Renita Ann (Robinson) Hubbard, Patrick Allan Robinson, Ricky Lee Reed, Jr; 4 great grandsons and a host of friends who care and love him dearly.
