She worked for a time at the Seminole Producer as a receptionist and was working there when war was declared. She moved to Oklahoma City in 1943 and lived at the YWCA and worked at National Theater Supply (what you lose on the peanuts you make up for on the popcorn). She met her future husband Buddy Hall while roller skating at the Municipal Building, Buddy proposed to her on the lawn in front of the Municipal Building. When the Navy transferred him, she moved to Beeville, Texas where she was married to Harold E. (Buddy) Hall, who was a machinist mate first class stationed there in the Naval Air Corp. They moved to his home in Blytheville, Arkansas after the war until 1951. The young family then moved to Midwest City in 1951. Buddy went to work at Tinker AFB in computers and Lillian worked first for National Theater Supply then Long Bell Lumber Company. Buddy passed away in April 1967. In 1969 she met a good friend, Floyd Ogle and the two of them shared an enthusiasm for square dancing until he passed away in 1977. Lillian enjoyed the courses at Rose State College and attended Mrs. Barber's creative writing class for many years. She was a Christian woman with her letter at Meadowwood Baptist Church. The family appreciates the church members keeping her in their prayers all these years. In the last few years, she resided at the Arbor House of Mustang. The family appreciates the staff taking good care of her and wishes her friends there all the best. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Arlington Memory Gardens with interment next to her husband.
