Lillian Beatrice Adkisson Leighton

Lillian was born on 16 May 1939 in Clovis, New Mexico to Lois Gray Adkisson and Opal Beatrice Reed, and grew up in Lindsay, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of more than 41 years, James L. Leighton, one daughter Patricia Bates, and one grand daughter, Darcy Bates.

Lillian is survived by her 5 children: son Charles L. Leighton and wife Vickie of Midwest City, daughter Leona Sue Robinson and husband Randall of Moore, daughter Natalie L. Haskell and husband DeForest of Del City, son James L. Leighton II and wife Jerri of Moore, and daughter Lesley A. Leighton of the home.

Lillian will be sadly missed by her siblings Leon Adkisson and wife Leta Kay of Lindsay, sister Peggy Perdue of OKC, and brother Dean Kroth of Lindsay, OK.

She is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Thomasina, Brandie, Randy II, Candice, Joshua, Nicole, Christopher, Blake, Austin, Cameron, Don, Becky, and Terry. In addition there are 17 great-grandchildren: Victoria, Josh, Harley, Jade, Leighton, Jaeden, Kingston, Maysn, Desiray, Cory, Lucy, Ashley, Joey, Cayden, Matthew, Alex and Sean. She was also blessed with 5 great-great-grandchildren: Harlie, Cruz, Dakota, Marianna, and Serenity. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear family friends.
