Born on March 9, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Bill and Wanda Hice, Linda lived a life marked by kindness, perseverance, and deep love for her family. She dedicated 25 years to public service at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, where her compassion and care touched the lives of many across the state.
Linda was an avid gardener who found joy and peace among her flowers, and she had a special gift for bringing beauty to every space she touched. She loved to travel and was always up for a new adventure—especially when it came to learning new things, like her determined efforts to master the game of golf.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, C.J. Lutts; her beloved children, Jerred Kelso and wife Olivia, Jason Kelso and wife April, and Trevor Kelso and wife Yvonne; and her cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Jeremiah, Lola, Magnolia, Ty, and Juniper Kelso—each of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy.
She is also survived by her children in love, Mike Lutts and wife Gayla, and Gina Johnson; grandchildren Bryce Lutts, Braden Lutts, Rylee Lutts, Jesika Johnson, and Jordan Harris and her husband Jeff; and great-grandchild Reagan Harris.
Linda is further survived by her brothers, Rudy Hice and wife Marla, Phillip Hice and wife Debbie, Tommy Hice, and Randy Hice.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Wanda Hice, whose love and guidance shaped the woman she became.
Pallbearers will be Braden Lutts, Bryce Lutts, Jerred Kelso, Jeremiah Kelso, Nicholas Lyon, and Chris Perkins.
Linda’s gentle spirit, quick wit, and unwavering love will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who knew her—like the flowers she so lovingly tended. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, located at 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK, 73115.
