Loretta loved family gatherings, gardening, cooking, traveling, church and watching Gun Smoke. For many years she co-owned Byus Paint with her husband, Kenneth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tommy Byus; sister, Linda Medlin; father and mother in law, George and Goldie Byus. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Byus; son, Dewayne Byus (Debbie); grandchildren; Lorinda Wall (Billy), Thomas D. Byus, Ashleigh Byfield, Jake and Zack Singletary; great-grandchildren, Kryssi and Caleb Wall, Gabriella Singletary; Siblings, Laura Thompson (Darrell), Robert and Ronnie Townsend.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Shields Blvd. Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
