She was born August 19, 1934, in Oil Center, Oklahoma, to Henry Bailey and Nora Barnett Bailey. She had three brothers and five sisters. She married Ronald R. Swarb on June 30, 1956, who predeceased her, and she was survived by three children, Robert A. Swarb, Richard R. Swarb, and DeeAnn Aldridge; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
She loved to paint, admitted the work of Grandma Moses, and preferred to paint rural scenes in Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the families of her siblings. Her many gracious gifts to those in need attest she was a woman of resolute faith and firm hope of the resurrection and the love of God and His Word.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Cummings Cemetery, Maud, Oklahoma, with Steve Chisholm officiating. Burial will occur at this locale shortly thereafter.
