Mattie Martin

Mattie went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2014.

Mattie worked at Unacro Commercial Products for 17 years making grocery carts. Mattie was a member of United Auto Workers Union. One of Mattie’s favorite things to do was to play and hang out with her great grandsons, Syncere and Peyton. They were always making her smile. She would always ask, “What are the boys doing today?” Mattie was really excited to find out she was going to be blessed to have a new great granddaughter, Savayah in October. Mattie enjoyed working her yard and planting flowers.

Mattie left behind Debbie and Charlie Casey, Ruth Williams of Florida, David and Kim Henson, Albert and Myrtle Henson of Oklahoma City. Granddaughters: Crystal Garcia, April Thompson, Patricia Wise, Renee Casey, Petra. 8 grandsons: Mark Williams and Shane Williams of Arkansas, Matthew Williams of Washington, Chad Williams, Albert Henson Jr., Patrick Henson, JR Wise and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews all of Oklahoma City.

Mattie was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mildred Cannon, brothers Sam Cannon, Woody Cannon, and Oda Cannon, sisters Maxine Thurman, Iva Bailey, Helen Washington and 2 grandsons Dustin Casey and Vincent Wise.

Mattie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
