Medora Hadaway Howard

Reverend Medora Howard, our loving mother, passed away on July 20, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 13th, 1923 in Mobile, AL. She married Lewie R. Howard on May 2nd, 1946. The couple lived in Midwest City and raised 3 daughters: Janet Vaughan (husband Gary), Judy Goodson (husband Marvin), and Carol DeCoteau (husband Lonnie) and 4 sons: Joel Howard (wife Alline), David Howard (wife Nita), Lewie Howard, Jr., and Daniel Howard (wife Wendy). Medora and Lewie were blessed with 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Medora was a retired, licensed minister for the Church of God. She and Lewie were former members of the Post Road Church of God and of their local Church of God in Diana, TX. Medora loved serving her Lord and Savior, doing arts and crafts, playing piano and playing with her Chihuahuas. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Medora is survived by her 7 children, 16 grandchildren, her brothers Linwood Hadaway, and Carl Hadaway, as well as a host of other family members and friends. Medora is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and 1 great grandson. Praise be unto God for her service to her Lord and Savior Jesus.
