Mike Barnett, 51, passed away November 24, 2010. He was born February 4, 1959, in Wichita, KS to James N. and Margaret A. (Johnson) Barnett. He was a motorcycle safety instructor, member of SASS, supporter of Run For the Wall, and the Patriot Guard. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn, parents: James and Margaret; children: Michelle Barnett, Marion Barnett-Pickle and husband Jason, Andrew Baker, Dana and Robert Vargas, Bryan Burleson, Brad Burleson; grandchildren: Jonathan Gray, Alyssa Gray, Jordyn Pickle, Carly Vargas, Cade Vargas who they all called PaPa Monkey; siblings: Margaret and Scott Hansen, Maria Mullins, James and Patty Barnett, Richard Barnett, Nancy Barnett. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, Del City. The family extends a special thank you to Norman Fire Dept., Cleveland County Sherriff Dept., Medical Staff of Jonathan Davis. The family requests donation be made to the local VFW in memory of Mike.
