Murry G. Allison, 77, or “Coco”, as he was affectionately known by family members, was born on January 15, 1938 in Bromide, Oklahoma, to Robert and Myrtle Allison. He went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2015 at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He spent his early years in Bromide and Ada. He later moved to Oklahoma City in 1951. He graduated from Crooked Oak High School in 1960. Murry was retired from the State of Oklahoma after 25 years of faithful service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ella Riedel and Joan Miller; and by one brother, Bobby Allison.
He is survived by one brother, Dell Allison; sister-in-law, Florence Allison; brother in law, Lonnie Miller; and 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses: Allen Riedel, Steve and Sherry Clawson, Jimmy Riedel, Jerry and Debbie Jones, Steffen and Karen Baecker, Mike Allison, Steve Allison, Phillip and Beth Melton, Don and Glenda Miller, and Ken and Patty Davis.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 on August 27, 2015.
