Nancy Lee (Hinton) Richter

Nancy Lee Hinton (Fletcher) Richter, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed on January 3, 2015. Born on July 17, 1939, she was the third child and middle daughter of Opal Lee and Robert Seaborn Hinton. Nancy was preceded in death by husband Thomas Richter, son Richard Fletcher, brothers Jerome Hinton and Charles Hinton. She is survived by sisters Margaret Hinton Knisely, Harriet Hinton Rahm, children Charles Colin Fletcher, Suzanne Fletcher-Petrich (Joe Petrich), Christopher Thomas (Melissa) Richter, Allison Richter Erskine; grandchildren Della Christine Fletcher (Garrett) Harmon, Nicholas Seaborn Petrich, Marisa Clark Petrich, Elizabeth Renee Richter (Jonathan) Shuford , Jeffery Smith, Fletcher Harley Erskine and great grandson Maximus Albert Harmon, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and great family friends. Well-read, well-versed, well-traveled and well-loved, Nancy leaves behind a close-knit fabric of family and friends, of which she was the center. We mourn her passing, yet are forever grateful for her impact on our lives. In lieu of flowers, she would appreciate donations to Wounded Warriors, DAV, Folds of Honor, or your local food bank.Viewing will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 9th, 2015. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel.
