7th, 2015 after a short illness which followed three years of debilitation. Norma was a devoted mother
and grandmother who was much loved.
Norma was born August 28, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma, and was the third of four children born to
Douglas and Mamie Sinor. She married Bob Diffee in March, 1954. Two children were born to this
union--Debra and Steven.
A diligent student, Norma was selected as the valedictorian of the class of 1948 at Pleasant Grove High.
After high school, she enrolled in Neff's Business College in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and graduated in
1950. Norma had a lifetime love of learning. She completed many courses in the Tinker Air College
and also graduated from Rose State College later in life with an Associate in Art degree.
Norma was employed as a graphic artist/illustrator at Tinker Air Force Base from 1950-1963, and then
again from 1981-1993 where she worked as a C/KC-135 Production Management Specialist. Following
her retirement after 25 years at Tinker, she enjoyed the company of many close friends and traveled
often.
Norma was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and attended, volunteered, and later worked for the Free
Methodist Church of Midwest City during the 60's, 70’s and 80’s. During the time her children were in
elementary school she was active in the PTA at Steed and served as PTA President for several years.
She was also a member of the Eastern Star, and was a frequent volunteer for activities which supported
the military.
Norma was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Mamie Wilson Sinor, two brothers (Vernon Ray
Sinor and Claude Sinor) and a sister (Gladys Sinor Pulliam). She is survived by Bob Diffee, son Steven
