Ollie J. Medcalf

Ollie J. Medcalf, 90, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on August 23, 2025. Ollie was born August 22, 1935 in Marlow, OK, the son of Murray and Ruby Medcalf. Ollie joined the US Marine Corps in 1953 and served in the Korean War. Later, he entered the US Air Force, retiring in 1978.

Ollie married Sarah “Sally” Ann Keeler on September 7, 1963. Ollie met Sally in Quantico, VA where they both were stationed. They were married for 56 years until Sally passed in June 2020. Duty stations included Okinawa; Holland; Altus, OK; Taiwan; and Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK, where he retired. After his military service, he worked for General Motors.

Ollie enjoyed listening to country music, reading Westerns, playing cards, and various other games, but most of all, spending time with family.

Ollie was preceded in death by wife, Sally; son, Jeffrey; great-granddaughter, Mariah; brother, Edward; sister, Lena; sister, Virgie; and brother, Robert.

Ollie is survived by his sons, Forrest and wife Sharon “Rusty”; William and wife Mary; Brian and wife Ruth; daughter-in-law Stephanie; sister Betty and husband Charles; brother Richard “Rip” and wife Wanda; sister Elsie and husband Jim; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
