Patsy Lee Franks

Our sweet Mama and proud Gigi, Patsy Franks, completed her mission on earth on December 21, 2022, in time to spend her first Christmas in heaven with our Daddy. A life-long citizen of Oklahoma City for 74 years, she was born to her adoring and adored parents Rahe and Janelle Pollock on October 18, 1948.

After graduating from US Grant High School in 1966, she married the love of her life, Terry Franks, in 1971, and over their 46 years together, they built a devoted marriage, beautiful family, and loving home. Patsy was a respected and proud court reporter for Oklahoma County for over 30 years. While her family was her pride and joy, she also loved to read, knit, listen to classic rock, and turn heads driving her vintage Mustang. A woman of strong faith, Patsy was greeted in heaven and joyfully reunited with her husband, her parents, her sister Becky Pollock, and many other family and friends. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love: her three daughters: Doria Franks, Stacia Franks, and Aubri Smith and husband Spencer; her three grandchildren: Dozier, Logan, and Cashlin Smith; her sister Francina Bell and husband Kenny; her brother Joe Pollock and wife Pauline; and countless family and dear friends who touched her life. Our remarkable, funny, loud, kind, smart, bold mom was deeply loved, and she is deeply missed.

Please join us as we celebrate her life at 2pm on December 30, 2022 at Sunnylane Family Center, located at 3900 SE 29th ST, Del City, OK. Her family welcomes your prayers and fond remembrances, and asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Patsy's memory to Wildcare Oklahoma, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, or Samaritan's Purse.
