Pearl Ruth Burnett

Pearl Ruth Burnett was born November 8, 1939 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of William and Gertrude Carpenter. She passed from this life July 10, 2018 at her home in Oklahoma City, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 2 days. Pearl enjoyed crafts, crochet and was a collector, with angels and crosses being among her favorite. She was a member of the Southpointe Church of the Nazarene. Pearl was a homemaker especially loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Burnett and a host of siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joi and Ron Smith of Oklahoma City; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Paula Burnett of Winslow, AZ and Bruce and Tessie Burnett of Del City; grandchildren, Stephanie and Travis Cottrell, Elana Cottrell, Spencer Cottrell, Thomas Horne Jeff Horne and Glenn Petranovich; great-granddaughter, Zakeria Horne and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
