Rita Mullins, passed away March 3, 2011 at the age of 88. She was born November 7, 1922 in Dennison, TX to Walter and Hattie Hudgins. Rita loved going to Del View Baptist Church where she was a member for many years. She also enjoyed going to the lake, talking on the phone, playing with kitty, and eating out. When she as younger she was known as Rita the Riveter. She liked to spend time with her grandkids. For the last year she has been saying she is cold. She is survived by her daughters: Sherry Erwin and husband Bob, Shirley Sullivan-Vail and husband Clint; grandchildren: Chris Eriwn, Jennifer Erwin, Tammy Lawson, Steven Sullivan, Kelby Vail; 8 great grandchildren, brother: Raymond Hudgins; many nieces and nephews and a special niece Margie Richardson that she took care of for 26 years. Preceded in death by son Willard Ray Blevins, Jr, brothers: Jessie and Ralph Hudgins; sisters: Ruby Castle, Ruth Grubb, mom: Hattie Hardin, father Walter Hudgins, husbands: Willard Blevins, Sr and Ray Mullins. The family would like to give special thanks to Logan Medical Center intensive care staff, Colonial Estates nursing home and staff in Guthrie and Dr. V.
