Robert Alvin “Bob” Kinney, Sr. 84 of Oklahoma City, OK. Passed away Oct. 27, 2011. He was born Oct. 23, 1927 in Burlington, Ks. Bob served his country during WWII and Korea in the Marines and Army retiring in 1965. He then went to work for the US Postal Service and retired after 22 years. He was a faithful member of Del City Church of Christ for over 33 years. Bob also served as Vice Commander for the American Legion Post 13. He is survived by his children Robert and Tammie Kinney of Yukon, OK., Terry L. Kinney of OK., Mike and Laurie Wise of Richland, WA, Robin and Bill Tays of Clayton, OK., and Valerie Chappell of Oklahoma City, OK., 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many other extended family members. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Margaret. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
