On April 18, 1970 she married the love of her life Wiley Edward Clayton and the two were happily married for 46 years. She worked at Western Electric until her retirement. She enjoyed painting, sewing, crocheting and riding horses.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; son, Harry Michael Klingman; siblings, Edith Bartgis, Elmer and John Butler; Survivors include her husband, Wiley Edward Clayton; daughter, Sandra Windsor (Johnnie); grand-children, Wendy Sanchez (Ronnie), Billi Jo Doyle, Joni Bailey (A.J.), Bobbie Esplin (Brady), Amma Klingman-Pawa (Rahul), Carlie Klingman, and Chloe Klingman; siblings, Delmer Butler, Delia Williams, Mary Williamson, and Sue Phillips (Elmer); sister-in-laws, both which are named, Linda Butler; and many great- grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow in Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com.
