Rosa Deona Lorenz

Rosa Deona Lorenz of Del City, OK, passed away on May 27th 2026 at the age 79. This was just four days before her 80th birthday. She was born May 31, 1946 in Granite, Ok. Deona spent most of her life involved in her church, where she regularly attended and helped in the nursery when needed. Her faith remained an important part of her life throughout the years.

Growing up Deona played the accordion and sang in the choir. She had a lifelong love of animals and always had a pet in her home. She enjoyed traveling to Disney parks and amusement parks whenever she had the opportunity. Noone could keep her off of a roller-coaster. When she was home, she loved watching the Star Wars movies and many television shows. Going out to eat with family and friends was always a joy for her to do. She also loved the color yellow. If anything was available in the color yellow, she would buy it.

She passed away almost 3 months after her husband of 54 years. She is survived by her two children, daughter Digee (Chris) Andrews, son Hal (Rita) Lorenz and two grandchildren, Michael (Jessie) Andrews, Brittany (Logan) Seaman. She leaves behind her brother, Lewis Ray Hendrix, and sister-in-law Liesal Lorenz.

Visitation is 1:00 pm-5:00 pm on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City, OK.

Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Monday, June 8th, 2026 at the Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
