Sammy worked for many years as Chief of Security for the Department of Corrections. He enjoyed reading, traveling with his family and he absolutely loved the OKC Thunder.
Sammy was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Key. Survivors include his loving partner of 21 years, Ruth Mary McDonald; children, John Paul Key and wife Noni, Barbara Gibson and husband Ronnie; brothers, Roger Key and wife Jamie, Bill Key and wife Ramona; several grand and great-grandchildren.
A private interment will be held at a later date in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
