

Sharon J. Dickens was the oldest of twin girls born on Sept. 3, 1961 to the union of Glenn and Delores Dickens. She accepted Christ at a young age, and was baptized in Chicago. Later she joined True Vine, the Childress' family church.
Sharon's educational experience was at McKinley, Kirk and Beacon Hill grade schools, and Westwood Junior High School. Sharon attended high school at Rich Central and graduated from Thorton Township High School in 1979. After, Sharon attended Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
Sharon enjoyed traveling with her twin, and shopping for deals. She also liked Spa trips with her twin sister and Casinos. Her favorite places to travel were Las Vegas and Palm Springs, CA.
After Sharon retired from her job of 28 years, she devoted her time to her grandchildren. She would take them on outings, parks, and shopping. She spoiled them rotten. She even had the privilege of being a Great-Grandmother to two boys, Ayden and Nyzir, whom she loved dearly.
Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Dickens, her twin sister Karon Abbott, her parents, and her two precious twin great-grandbabies, Naylani and Nahmir.
Sharon leaves to mourn and cherish her memory sons Christopher (Sarah), Keith (Raniece), and Kevin (Kisha), and her daughter/granddaughter Tazjanae; grandsons Christopher Jr., Keith Jr., Kendrick and Kevin Jr.; granddaughters Azhariah, Isabella, Kailee, and Khole; great-grandsons Ayden and Nyzir; brothers Glenn (Eva), John, Richard, Joseph (Stephanie) and sister Juell; her favorite brother-in-law Dwayne Abbott and nephew Kyle; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her favorite Aunt Juell Walton.
Sharon will be truly missed, but the memories and love will last forever.
Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on March 13, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115, on March 14, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
Final resting will be at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 Midwest Blvd, Midwest City.
