Stanley Gene Warren

Stanley Gene Warren of Oklahoma City , OK . passed away on September 11, 2011. He was born March 6, 1938 to Stanley Gray and Helen Jeanette (McCrillis) Warren. He married Verna Nadine Nelson in 1964, to this marriage; they had 2 children John and Heather. Verna preceded him in death in 1984.

He married Lorene Jean Ruth in 1987, for which he has spent 24 wonderful years.

He retired as a Major from the United States Air Force after serving for 20 years. He received a Bronze Star for the tour he served in Vietnam . Stanley traveled to many different places throughout his military career. He was a member of the Tinker AFB Chapel.

Stanley worked for OG&E as an Industrial Engineer for many years before retiring.

He was still active in his college fraternity Lambda Chi Alpha, & was also a member of DeMolay and received various honors including the Legion of Honor Award.

He had a passion for studying genealogy. He loved tending his peonies and enjoyed running in marathons that included the Boston Marathon 3 times.

Stanley is survived by wife Lorene Jean Warren, son, John Warren of Conroe TX , daughter Heather Lewis of Conroe TX , and host of family and friends.
