Tamara (Tammy) Ann Gregory went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 8th. She fought liver disease and other acute illnesses over the last year. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 14, 1964. She married Melvin James (Jamie) Gregory, January 5, 2000 in Del City, Oklahoma. They spent over 31 wonderful years together. She had 4 children and 6 grandchildren which she loved unconditionally through all of life’s journeys. She also cared for several younger cousins throughout the years, even when she was a child herself. She worked for KECO Plastics as well as skilled nursing clinic in Oklahoma City. She also worked at Conoco/Subway in Del City where she met so many customers who she enjoyed sharing life updates with daily as well as for Mid Del Public Schools as a bus driver until she retired to become a fulltime wife, mom, and grandma. Her compassionate and caring spirit were a wonderful fit in each of these positions.
Tammy is survived by her husband Melvin James Gregory Jr. of Oklahoma City, her 4 children Melissa Faulkner of Ponca City, LaKisha Faulkner of Midwest City, Matthew Gregory and wife Hannah Sledge-Gregory of Shawnee, and Katie Gregory of Oklahoma City, as well as grandchildren Samantha Watts, DeShawn Faulkner, Mariah Faulkner, Nathan Faulkner, Sadie Thompson and Abigail Gregory, and father Phillip Wood. She is proceeded in death by grandmother, Mildred Wells, mother, Linda Wood and several other loved family members. Tammy was loving and kind and her spirit will be remembered and cherished by her family forever.
