She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Coy Grimmett; parents Albert and Annie Thomas; brother Monty Thomas; and sister Blanche Grimmett.
She married the love of her life and soulmate, Coy, on October 26, 1958.
She enjoyed gardening, shopping and especially cooking all of her favorite Lebanese dishes. She welcomed everyone into her homes with kindness and love.
Virginia was the proud mother, and Mimi, to and is survived by, her son Michael Coy Grimmett of Choctaw, Oklahoma; daughter Laura Kay Richardson and husband Ronald Ray Richardson of Newcastle, Oklahoma; granddaughter Megan Nicole Guinn and husband Justin Blair Guinn of Bixby, Oklahoma; granddaughters Ava Nicole Guinn and Tatum Blair Guinn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will miss you so much, and you will be in our hearts forever.
A visitation for Mimi will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 5005 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK 73115. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home.
Mimi will be laid to rest in Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th St., Del City, OK 73115.
