Wesley "Noel" Mowles

Noel Mowles, 49, of Oklahoma City, passed away June 24, 2018 at his home. He was born November 25, 1968 in Oklahoma City, the son of Wesley and Linda Thiessen Mowles. Noel had lived in Oklahoma City all of his life and was a 1987 graduate of Crooked Oak High School. He was a member of the Life Tabernacle of Moore and enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and collecting vintage cars. Noel was preceded in death by his grandparents: Preston and Edna Mowles and Madie and Leonard Theissen; aunts, Patsy Mackey and Patsy Cathey; cousin, Tammy Sourjohn and his best friend Ardie Skidmore. He is survived by his wife Jennifer Bohannon of the home; mother, Linda Mowles; father and step-mother, Wesley and Charlotte Mowles; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Kathy Mowles and Roy Mowles all of Oklahoma City; Mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jesse and Judy Bohannon of Del City; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Crystal and Pete Allen of Midwest City; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris and Terri Bohannon of Edmond; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his beloved fur babies, Keystone, Smokey and Zoey. A special thank you to his Uncle, Leroy Mowles and Cousin, James Travens for their special care given to Noel. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:30pm at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
