Jennifer "Jenny" Duhon Gary

NEW IBERIA – A MASS OF Christian Burial will be conducted for Jennifer “Jenny” Duhon Gary, age 34, at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Nathan Comeaux officiating. Inurnment will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum on Friday, June 19, 2015.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native of Erath and resident of New Iberia, Jenny passed away at 8:17 am on, Friday, June 12, 2015 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX.

Jenny was a loving mother, daughter, wife and friend. She enjoyed camping with her family and lived her life for her children.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. “Joey” Gary, Jr.; three daughters, Amber Gary, Andie Gary and Lanie Gary all of New Iberia; mother and father, Andrea and Horace Dean Floris of Erath; in laws, Joseph “Jimmie” Gary, Sr. and Mary “Elaine” Gary of New Iberia and her maternal grandmother, Nelvie Duhon of Delcambre

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Dean Duhon-Gary; maternal grandfather, Andrus Duhon and paternal grandparents, Antoine and Mildred Mergist Floris; her aunt, Sharlene Duhon, uncles, Barry Rodrigue and Raymond Comeaux and her cousins, Joshua Derouen and Justin Smith.

Pallbearers will be Dray Rodrigue, Mark Rodrigue, Steven Rodrigue, Kimball Duplantis, Jermaine Comeaux, Raymond Comeaux, Trevor Peltier and Kevin Gary.
