Lilly Touchet

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Lilly Touchet, age 82, at 10:00 am Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Comeaux officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Monday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Tuesday and remain open until service time.

A native of New Iberia and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. Touchet passed away at 7:45 pm on Friday, July 19, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Touchet was the owner of the Grey Goose Lounge in Delcambre. She loved to garden, cook, knit and sew clothes. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her sons Stanley Norris and wife Lena of New Iberia, Troy Touchet and wife Debra of Delcambre; daughter, Vickie Touchet of Delcambre; brother, Dalton Bouillion; sisters, Shirley Porrier, Betty Nell Viator; twenty-four grandchildren including Tim Norris and Debra Louviere, thirty-eight great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dalton Touchet; parents, Saul Touchet and Lydia Broussard Touchet; step-mother, Alida Touchet; son, Mark Broussard; daughters, Vivian Delahoussaye, Vanessa Touchet; sister, Hazel Touchet; brother, Sarris Touchet and grandsons, Dalton Norris and Harley Touchet.

Pallbearers will be Harley Boudreaux, Tim Norris, Curtis Touchet, David St. Pierre, Christopher Loveless and Harold Louviere, Jr.

Philip Boudeloche will serve as honorary pallbearer.
