Tony Joseph Latiolais

DELCAMBRE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Tony Joseph Latiolais, age 55, at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Bishop Drew Rousse officiating and Pastor Wanda Rousse assisting. Interment will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mr. Latiolais passed away at 8:45 am on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at his residence.

Tony loved horses. He owned and raced horses for many years. He also enjoyed camping, watching tv, keeping his yard in pristine condition and most importantly, spending time with all of his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen DeRouen Latiolais of Delcambre; son, Steven Ray Latiolais and companion Shelly of Delcambre; daughter, Dena Standridge of Delcambre; son-in-law, Jeremy Standridge, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Christine DeBlanc; mother, Shirley Monceaux of Erath; brothers, Terry Joseph Latiolais and wife Bonnie of Delcambre, Scotty James Latiolais and companion Vonnie of Delcambre; sister, Sherry Brasseaux and husband Gary of Abbeville; grandchildren, Spring D. Crisp, Tyten J. DeBlanc, Trenton J. DeBlanc, Jeremy J. Standridge, Jr., Jarred Standridge, Heaven Latiolais and one great-grandchild, Ella Grace Crisp.

He was preceded in death by his father Steven Joseph Latiolais, Jr.; son, Brian J. DeBlanc; sister, Trudy Marie Latiolais; grandparents, Molton and Eunice Monceaux and Stephan and Laura Latiolais, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Latiolais, Calvin Touchet, Jessie Badeaux, Tyten DeBlanc, Bubba Latiolais and Steven Ray Latiolais.

Honorary pallbearers will be Spring D. Crisp, Tyten J. DeBlanc, Trenton J. DeBlanc, Jeremy J. Standridge, Jr., Jarred Standridge and Heaven Latiolais.
