Carol and family, I am broken-hearted to hear of Barry's passing. He was a wonderful human being, a loving and adoring husband to Carol, great father to his two children and a fabulous grandfather to his three granddaughters. He always thought the best of people and as mentioned before and  in so many memories, he always had a smile on his face. A beautiful man gone too soon. Rest in peace Barry

Sending heartfelt love to my dear friend Carol on the loss of her amazing Barry. I will always remember our lovely and memorable weekend in upstate New York so many years ago. They were true soulmates and Barry was the sweetest man.  RIP Barry and you have earned your Angel wings.

Condolences to the family.  Barry was a kind, warm hearted, soft spoken man.  He always had a smile on his face any time I saw him.  He loved his life with Carol and would tell stories of their life along with the love he had for his family.  He will truly be missed by all.  May he Rest in Peace.

Truly a "gentleman's gentleman" in every sense of the word.  We will always have fond memories of our times together.

So very sorry for your family's loss.  Many of his former colleagues at Simpson Thacher are saddened by his passing.  May he rest in peace.

Barry will always be in my heart. Incredibly nice man, always smiling. He's a warm memory for me.

Many years ago our daughters played soccer on the same team. When the time came for halftime break, Barry would bring oranges and would make sure everyone had a share of them. To this day, I remember how kind he was to the players.    Rest In Peace Barry as your kindness will be rewarded.
