

Bernice Krinsky Kuster, 89, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at her home in Deerfield Beach Florida on May 24, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY by her loving parents, Ray & Harry Krinsky. Bernice was the eldest of six children. She married Howard Kuster in 1954. They were an inseparable couple for 59 years until his passing. Together they lived a very full life, raising their two children Steven and Liz.
While raising their children, she worked as a secretary at Erasmus Hall HS in Brooklyn NY, and studied art at the Brooklyn Museum.
Bernice loved her life with Howie. They spent their early years as a family summering in the Catskill Mountains. After retiring they enjoyed a home in the Poconos and in Boca Raton where they led a very active life. She enjoyed playing golf, tennis, bridge, Mah Jongg, canasta, reading and gardening. She took great pleasure entertaining and dining with family and friends at the Club. Bernice loved The NY Times crossword puzzles and playing Words With Friends.
Bernice is survived by her children Steven Kuster (Hassel), Liz Loiselle (Bob), her grandchildren Jackie Burley (David), Zachary Loiselle, her great grandchildren Benjamin and Natalie, her brother Jerry Krinsky, and sisters Rhoda Rudd and Sandra Brooks, along many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont NY at 10:30 am on Thursday May 30th, 2024. Shiva will be at the home of Liz and Bob Loiselle, 20 Thorne Road, Eastham MA on Friday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Sunday 11:00-3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
