

Lorraine Aronson, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away after a courageous battle on July 25, 2019, at Hospice By The Sea in Boca Raton, FL. She succumbed to complications of a stroke, after suffering from chronic arthritis for many years.
She is now reunited with her late husband, Sy Aronson whom she married on November 4, 1950. Lorraine was a devoted Mother to Judy Kaan and her late husband, Justin Kaan; Sharon Cohn and her late husband, Dave Cohn. Adored Grandmother of Jennifer, Becky and Lonnie. She was predeceased by her parents, Bella and Louis Bassoff and her brothers, Bill Bassoff and Leonard Bassoff.
Lorraine was born on December 31, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey. She worked side by side with her late husband, Sy for over 40 years at Sy Aronson Photography. They provided excellent photography services at many catering houses, including Biase's Restaurant and Catering, Goldmans Hotel, Appian Way, The Chandelier and San Carlo.
When her husband became ill with Parkinson's Disease, she was his caregiver and would not leave his side.
Her many travels included Israel, the Caribbean, the Jersey Shore, California and cruises with both her children and grandchildren.
Lorraine loved life and lived for her family. She was strengthened by her Jewish faith. She loved playing Mah-Jong with her many friends and she loved cooking. She was kind, generous, loving, understanding, faithful, thoughtful, and had a heart of gold. There was not a mean bone in her body.
