

He is survived by his brother John (Red) Snedden and wife Nancy of Rochester, New York; children Becky Cole and husband Charlie of Denison, Tony Snedden of Red Oak, Renee Watkins and husband Steve of Cedar Park, Texas, Bill Snedden and wife Lori of Sherman; grandchildren include Cari Miller, Samantha Cole, Stephanie, Stephen, Sharin, Shanon, Sarah Snedden; Jeremy Watkins, Austin Snedden; nephews Michael, Kenny, Bobby, Tommy and niece Karen. Also he was uncle to Alinda and Clarke Maxwell and great uncle to Dru and Diem Casselberry and best buddy Dane; great-grandchildren are Rylan, Cana, Charlotte, Owen and Cole.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Joyce Snedden; son Charles (Chuck) Snedden; grandson Jason Snedden and brother Donald Snedden of Chicago.
Bill was born in Portage, Pennslyvania on June 28, 1935 to Albert W. Snedden, Sr. and Rebecca Ann Snedden. He retired from the USAF after 20 years of service and also from Redpath Enterprises of Denison, Texas.
Bill loved singing and playing his guitar, riding motorcycles, but his passion was spending time playing golf. He was currently a member of Woodlawn Country Club and a past member of Katy Golf Club and Denison Rod and Gun Club, where he won the City Senior Tournament. He also had several holes in one during his lifetime. He enjoyed helping the young golfers at Rod and Gun and referred to them as his “puppies”.
Bill passed away quietly at home under the gentle loving care of Ann Maxwell Snedden and Home Hospice of Grayson County. Special thanks to caretaker Faye Rice, nurse Gena and the many others involved in his care during his illness.
