Alyce Marie Stonecipher

Graveside Services will be 3:00 P.M., Monday, October 17, 2011 at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, Texas, with Rev. Delbert Vest officiating. No visitation will be scheduled.

Marie was a member of Lakeway Methodist Church of Pottsboro, Texas. She worked for Gibsons for 20 years and Beall’s department store. Marie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She was born January 10, 1926 in Honey Grove, Texas, the daughter of Perry F. Simpson & Myrtle E. Fox Simpson. She married Walter “Buddy” Stonecipher August 2, 1969.

Marie is survived by husband Walter “Buddy” Stonecipher of Pottsboro; three sons: Steven Baugh & wife Hattie of Pottsboro, Michael Baugh & wife Brenda of Mesquite, Royce Baugh & wife Jackie of Denison; three daughters: Elaine Kelsoe & husband Joe of Denison, Julia Garner & husband Earle of Bedford, Diana Burkhalter & husband Rick of Sherman; sister-in-law Juanita Simpson of Denison; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Shelley Baugh, brother Floyd Simpson, Sr., and grandchild Jakob Kelsoe.
