Bonnie was born July 1, 1925 in Newport, Texas, the daughter of Fred Cordell and Ida Hudson. She married J. Zenn Taylor on March 30, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 1988.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Denison; was a homemaker; lived in Ennis for 10 years; along with her husband, she owned and operated Burl’s Pie shop for many years, Taylor Pony Farm and a photo shop in Bowie. She also loved to square dance.

Bonnie is survived by son Zenn Roger Taylor & wife Nancy of Plano, TX; daughter Livia Banks & husband Ron of Ennis; grandchildren Brandon Tucker, Brett Tucker, Richard Taylor, Chris Taylor & 8 great-grandchildren.
