Carl Mueller

Carl Mueller went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 after battling Parkinson’s for several years.

He was born in Evanston, Illinois on Sunday, September 4, 1932 to Christian G. and Juanita C. Mueller. His parents moved to Texas in 1946.

Carl graduated from Denison High School in 1952 and went into the Navy. After his time in the service, he lived and worked in California. In 1963 he moved back to Denison to help his parents who were in bad health.

On April 23, 1971, he married Betty Perkins. They brought to this marriage a blended family of Gary, Juanita, Pam, John and Jeff. Carl retired from Denison Industries in 2000, after 26 years. He was a member of Parkside Baptist Church.

Carl is survived by his wife Betty; sons Gary (Carla), Jeff (Sherene) and John. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, with one expected in March.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Juanita and Pam.

The family will be at Bratcher Funeral Home for visitation from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 22 at Parkside Baptist Church in Denison with Rev. Jerry Coffman and Rev. Greg Canton officiating.

Burial will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman. Pallbearers will be Howard Thomas, Wayne Iafelice, John Ruddell, Stack Lambert, Dale Ross, Tom Scott and Tommy Cassidy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benevolent Fund at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 N. Lillis Lane, Denison, TX 75020.
