

Charles B. Kaiser, Jr., of St. Louis, Missouri passed away July 1, 2013 of an apparent heart attack. He was 89 years old. He was born in Missouri, the only child of LuRene Cobb and Charles B. Kaiser, Sr. and lived nearly his entire life in St. Louis.
He was married for over 60 years to MaryLou Kaiser, by whom he is survived. A graduate of C.B.C. High School and University of Missouri School of Law, he was a City Counselor and later the General Counsel of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. His many achievements include partial authorship of the Federal Clean Water Act, President of AMSA, President of the World Water Environment Federation, City of Hope Man of the Year, member of the American Bar Association and the United States Supreme Court Bar. He is also survived by two children, Sharon Klingler and Charles B. Kaiser, III; daughter-in law Laura S. Kaiser; three Grandchildren, Megan Briley, Katherine Kaiser and Victoria Kaiser, and his great-grandson, Bradley.
Funeral services will be held at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa, St. Louis, Missouri, 63109, visitation from 4 to 8pm on Sunday, July 7 and service on Monday, July 8 at 11am.
