

Denison – Dorothy Geraldine (Warden) Nichols “Dot”, age 73 of Denison, TX passed on to be with her mother Trevis Warden; her father John Warden and her precious grandmother and grandfather and her aunts and uncles and our Lord on Friday, April 20, 2012.
She was born on June 16, 1938 in a small town, Okemah, OK.
A brother Raymond Hunter Warden has preceded her in death. She leaves behind three sisters, all of Texas, Bernie Herbener of Houston, Margaret Ballard of Canton and Barbara Hammonds of Flower Mound.
She married Perry Nichols in New Mexico. She worked at the cotton mill, Levi Strauss and she managed a Stop –N-Go and then Carson’s Store in Denison and retired after Baretts Drug.
Survived by two daughters, Neva Walker, husband Phillip and Judy Nichols of Denison, two nieces, two nephews, six grandchildren; Joey Allen of Bells, Jaylean Wilson of Kansas, Tina Ward of Oklahoma, Lonnie Thompson of Denison, Scotty Thompson of Whitewright, Julia Horn of Washington and twenty great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Keith Taylor officiating with burial at Cedarlawn Cemetery following.
Family visitation will be 7:00PM to 8:00PM, Monday, April 23, 2012 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W Woodard St, Denison, TX 75020. 903-465-2323.

She was a loving and wonderful wife, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. You are going to be missed every day. You were a friend to us all.”
